Our expert Mgr. Radek Netu\u0161il, Ph.D. participated in a very interesting research project in collaboration with another member of our scientific board, Prof. MUDr. Vladim\u00edr Teplan, DrSc. What exactly was that about?<\/mark><\/strong> The research involved the development of a probiotic product for patients with renal impairment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the first phase, the research team monitored the degradation of oxalate by bacteria in the culture medium, and the strains that degraded oxalate were subsequently selected. Then, the ability of selected bacteria to protect the intestinal barrier from the effects of oxalate was tested in a model of intestinal endothelial permeability. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

And what is the conclusion?<\/mark><\/strong> The selected mixture of probiotic cultures used in this project appeared to be a very promising supportive agent for patients at increased risk of oxalate stone formation. There are also plans to validate these results in clinical follow-up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What we will need + procedure:<\/mark><\/strong> Heat 2x large ripe banana + 60 g butter in the microwave and mash, add 1 cup almond flour and 1\/2 cup coconut flour, 30 g protein vanilla, 3 tbsp coconut sugar (xylitol), 1 tsp cinnamon, 3 eggs, 150 ml milk, lemon zest, 1\/2 baking powder \"\u27a1\ufe0f\" Bake at 170 degrees for about 35 minutes. Then pour a scoop of Harmonelo Colostrum over each serving. This way we add a daily dose of vitamins and bioactive substances to our breakfast. Harmonelo Colostrum is sweet by itself, so there is no need to sweeten the bread!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
