\ud83d\udccc \n We know you were recently in Frankfurt for a conference, what conference was it exactly? <\/mark>\n<\/strong>To be precise, it wasn’t a conference, it was a trade fair called Fi Europe 2023. Fi = Food ingredients. It is Europe’s largest trade fair for ingredients and various solutions in the food industry.<\/p>\n\n

\ud83d\udccc \n What was the content of this interesting event?<\/mark>\n<\/strong> The fair was attended by hundreds of exhibitors from manufacturers, distributors, researchers and technology companies. All exhibitors had one thing in common – their activities are somehow connected to the food industry. At this event, it was possible to meet interesting people who offer, produce or develop various ingredients for virtually any food, foodstuff or food supplement. There were also exhibitors with technological solutions to various problems related to the production of food or food supplements.<\/p>\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n

\ud83d\udccc \n What was the purpose of this trip?<\/mark>\n<\/strong> Did you come here to educate yourself\/see the latest trends in this field or even possibly to lecture?<\/mark> I had several purposes. Probably the most important thing is education. In our industry, it is essential to be constantly alert and keep an eye on what is new. We don’t want to stop, we want to keep inventing and innovating, and to do that we need to be inspired from time to time. At the same time, we want our products to be of the highest quality. And of course this is not possible without quality ingredients. In order to get the best quality raw materials, we need to find the best quality producers and establish contacts with them, which was another of the main objectives of the trip.<\/p>\n\n

\ud83d\udccc \n Which information interested you the most?<\/mark>\n<\/strong> It’s hard to choose any single thing. I focused mainly on various ingredients from the prebiotic and probiotic field. From that point of view, the fair was really busy and I was interested in a number of things. But if I had to name one single thing that caught my eye the most, it would probably be the chocolate with mushrooms, which I had the opportunity to taste at one of the exhibitors.<\/p>\n\n

\ud83d\udccc \n What pleasantly surprised you?<\/mark>\n<\/strong> I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the exhibitors, and especially by the number of probiotic strain producers who participated.<\/p>\n\n

\ud83d\udccc Finally, do you have any personal recommendations on how to take care of your immunity over the winter time?<\/mark> <\/strong>The basics are the same as all year round. I’d add a mulled wine or punch in the winter. If you can stand it, you can have something sharper.<\/p>\n\n

People came from Moravia, Bohemia and Slovakia \ud83c\udde8\ud83c\uddff + \ud83c\uddf8\ud83c\uddf0 = \u2665\ufe0f. Great group, sharing, inspiration, motivation, good mood and delicious food \ud83e\udd1d \ud83e\udd29 \ud83d\ude0b. I lectured for about 40 people \ud83d\udcaa\ud83d\ude0a. I’m glad that we can learn from and work with top leader Petr Beneda, who spreads good mood and positive energy around him \ud83e\udd1d\ud83e\udd8b.<\/p>\n\n
